Apple iPad leading Android in the Tablet Market in 2012

Apples iPad will have 44% of the total tablet market by the year 2012. Google Android isn’t too far behind with 30%.

Android is expected to take off in 2010 when it announces it’s next generation Android 3.0 operating system.

There is some competition here though. Samsung’s Galaxy 10 inch Tablet topped 1 million in sales in Dec. Motorolas 7 and 10 inch Android tablets also did very well. And Microsoft Windows 7, RIM’s Playbook and HP WebOS tablets are also high in the market.
